Solutions against verbal bullying

The reason why we will talk about verbal bullying and its solutions is that, we have to get rid of the bullies that sometimes harass people for all their high school years. Here are some solutions to prevent people from being bullied. If you are being bullied, go talk to someone you trust around you like a teacher, your parents, the principal, etc so they can help you solve the problem. Most of the time, bullies will go to you if you are alone so always stick with your friends. Try to ignore what he will say to you when you are alone because usually, bullies like to bully people that are psychologically sensitive because they will react differently of what people would usually react. I hope these solutions will help you stop bullies. These solutions could help you and your friends to stop the bullies.

Before you bully, know the side-effects

The consequences of verbal bullying can be just as bad, if not worse, than those of physical bullying. The self-image of the victims of verbal bullying will suffer and their self-esteem will be low. These consequences will be mostly emotional and psychological, and in some extreme cases, can lead to substance abuse, depression, or even suicide.   These consequences can happen to anyone being verbally bullied. They can result in children feeling frightened because of threats, upset because of harmful words, helpless because they don’t know where to get help, and vulnerable because they don’t know when it’s going to happen.

Other people may develop insecurities and feel intimidated when trying to speak their mind. Finally, a long-term consequence is that some of these victims will reach a point where they won’t want to be around other people and would rather be left alone. These consequences can scar a victim for life and, sometimes, even push them to become a bully.

Bullying is worse than you think

Bullying in general has many negative effects, but getting verbally bullied has the most hurtful consequences. It can leave someone with long-term psychological consequences on the victim. Verbal bullying has different effects on people. Some feel unsafe, lonely, humiliated. Verbal bullying is not  something you can prevent from happening. In most cases the bully bullies because he or she thinks they will become more popular, they feel powerful. They do not stop and think of how the victim feels and they do not know that some people take verbal bullying harshly and they can commit suicide because they can ni longer take the pain. Also research show that many school shootings are rooted in bullying. So people should stop and realize that bullying is not a good thing. It leads to many negative consequences so it should end as soon as possible.

Verbal bullying is when someone uses words to hurt or make fun of other people. Verbal bullying can be in different forms such as name-calling, insulting, making racist comments, constant teasing or even sexually harassing somebody. This type of bullying is the easiest to use but makes the biggest impression and can occur in the least amount of time.  It is most common to occur in school. People start to bully verbally at the of ten and most of the time stop bulling when they become adults, but like always there are some exceptions, meaning some people still bully even at the age of thirty. Words are very powerful and can be very hurtful as well.  Even though there are no visual scars, the heart is scarred for life.
